Longview

This past weekend we went to Longview, Tx to hang out with some of my family. Dave, Ally, and I were all sick but everyone still wanted us to come. We headed out early Friday morning and got to Longview around lunchtime. Dave and I were feeling so terrible we basically just napped and took medicine for most of the day. I had been hesitant to take any medicine because I never know how it is going to effect me. Most cold medicines knock me out, so I usually don't take anything so that I can take care of the girls. Having my family around, I knew if the medicine knocked me out, they would be able to take care of the girls. The medicine made me feel really good. It didn't even make me drowsy. Now I know what I can take if I get sick again! Saturday morning, all of the girls went garage saleing, except for Ally who stayed home with the boys. I had so much fun hanging out with my mom and sisters getting great bargains on stuff. I love to go garage saleing but I don't like to go alone and it is really hard to take 2 babies, so I hardly get to go. But there is just something so addicting about finding a huge box of baby clothes for 10 cents each or pictures to decorate the house for $1.00 or clothes for Dave to wear to work for $1.00. I love it! Saturday night we had a bbq which was alot of fun. Sunday morning we had a huge breakfast together and then everyone packed up and headed their separate ways. We were super sad to leave but the girls were so exhausted they slept for almost the entire 4 hour drive home. Emily never got sick, which we were so thankful for and no one in my family go sick either. Here are a few highlights from a trip to the park with the girls.
