Notes of Interest

I had a second ultra-sound this week and the baby is doing great! We got confirmation that it was a girl, she weights approximately 4.4 oz, the due date is definitely January 25 and all her measurements were great. Less than 2 months to go! I can tell the baby is growing stronger because her kicks are really starting to hurt! She is most active right as I am starting to go to bed. I hope she won't make a habit of that once she is born!
In other news, Emily's teacher came to my room last week and told me Emily had the second best handwriting in her class. She said her tracing of letters was near perfect! Today Emily was coloring with Dave and she wrote out Ally's name perfectly without any help. She may have wrote it backwards, but she spelled it right! I can't believe she is going to be starting kindergarten next year!

Snow!

I think it is completely crazy that I lived in Texas for 23 years and never saw snow fall from the sky and then the last two years that we have lived in Houston, it has snowed! It wasn't enough snow to stick and by 4 pm, the sun was out shining, but we had a blast playing in the little bit that we did get.
