And the color is...

For my birthday, Jeff and Dorcas got me a rose bush. I had been wanting one for a long time and they were so kind to get me one. I don't know what it is about roses, but no matter how I am feeling, whenever I see roses it makes me smile. They are so beautiful. When we went to pick out the rose bush for my birthday, there was no one around to help us out on what kind to buy and which ones were which. After looking around for a while, I decided I just wanted to get one that didn't have any buds on it yet so I could be surprised by the color. This week, the first bud started blooming and the roses are a light yellow with a hint of pink. Beautiful! Thank you so much Jeff and Dorcas. Here is a picture of the first one.
